N Medical Sterile Non-woven Transparent Film Island Dressing is a self adhesive, water resistant, soft non-woven wound dressing. The dressing is formed by a non-woven, non-adherent absorbent pad, and a hypoallergenic, water-resistant adhesive. It is ideal for post-operative wounds, minor burns, superficial cuts, and abrasions etc. It can also be applied for chronic wounds with low levels of exudate wounds such as leg ulcers. They are breathable, waterproof and act as a barrier to protect against external contaminants including bacteria, viruses*, blood and bodily fluids.
